We have so many girls and women who come into our agency that have absolutely nothing and are facing an unplanned pregnancy. ​With help from Choose Life funds, we are able to get them a phone or some maternity clothes or help them move into an apartment.​ It is so heartbreaking to hear some of their stories, but with the help of the Choose Life program, we can lighten their load."

"I would have to say that the Choose Life program has helped me and my three children in so many ways, such as helping me with housing, electric, water, and food. I am in contact with the agency that will be helping me to place the twins I am carrying in a loving home.

"A young couple came to Grace House. The young woman was considering abortion, an option she had chosen in her past. She and her boyfriend were educated on their options.

They later met with one of our lay counselors who shared more about adoption and Choose Life funds. After a few visits, they decided to place their baby for adoption.
​
They were both out of work and renting a room in a friend's home. They were able to use Choose Life funding for gas, clothing, and food. They were very appreciative and were able to move in with a relative to stabilize their lives."

"Alice, a single mom with one child already, shared that she was struggling financially and did not want her coworkers to know she was pregnant.
​
Through counseling, she chose adoption for her baby. With the help of an adoption agency, she chose a family for her little girl. We were able to help meet some of her financial needs with the Choose Life license plate funds. She decided to share her pregnancy with her coworkers and was surprised and comforted by their support.

At our banquet last year, Alice shared her story, surrounded by the loving adoptive, family. She explained how wonderful it felt to be a blessing to a family who wanted a child, a family that could care for her little girl in a way that she was not able.
She added that she was grateful to the Choose Life license plate organization for making the funds available to help her continue her pregnancy and complete the adoption plan for her child."
